Infoblox, cloud networking and security services, today announced the appointment of Justin Kappers as chief information officer (CIO). Kappers will lead the company’s global IT organization, focusing on scaling operations, enhancing employee experience, and advancing AI-driven initiatives to support Infoblox’s growth strategy.

Kappers brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise applications, IT strategy, and large-scale technology projects. He joins from NetApp, a $6.5 billion data storage company, where he served as vice president of Enterprise Applications. At NetApp, he led a global team across San Jose, Raleigh, Cork, and Bengaluru, modernizing core business systems including CRM, CPQ, and subscription management platforms. He also implemented automation and AI to improve productivity in Customer Success, Support, and Sales.

Before NetApp, Kappers held leadership roles at Broadcom, establishing the Enterprise Program Management Office and serving as IT chief of staff. He started his career at Deloitte, working on application implementations, IT process engagements, and SOX evaluations in Chicago and Sydney.

Kappers holds a Bachelor of Science in information systems and finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and currently resides in San Diego, California.
