Messe Frankfurt Middle East has announced the first details of the 27th edition of Intersec Dubai, set to take place from 12–14 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The upcoming edition will feature an expanded show floor to meet record demand from the global security, safety, and fire protection industries.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Intersec Dubai 2026 is expected to welcome record participation. Organizers revealed that more than 1,400 exhibitors from over 60 countries and 50,000 trade visitors are expected to attend.

To accommodate the surge in demand, the exhibition area will grow by nearly 12,000 square metres, representing a 13% increase, and will now span 67,000 square metres of gross space across two additional halls.

The 2026 edition will feature new programs and expanded features aimed at strengthening emergency response and securing both digital and physical infrastructure. The event will host leading global companies showcasing the latest technologies and innovations that align with the UAE’s vision for a secure and sustainable future. According to Numbeo, the UAE was ranked the world’s safest country in 2025.

Dishan Isaac, Show Director of Intersec at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, stated that Intersec continues to advance global dialogue and partnerships in security, safety, and fire protection. He added that the event’s growth reflects the strong demand for cutting-edge solutions and reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for security innovation and collaboration.

The event will include five product sectors:

  • Homeland Security & Policing
  • Cybersecurity
  • Commercial & Perimeter Security
  • Fire & Rescue
  • Health & Safety

Across these sectors, visitors will experience interactive showcases, product launches, and high-level networking opportunities. Returning exhibitors include Hikvision, Hanwha, Transguard, Genetec, Gunnebo, Salto, and TP-Link. International pavilions will represent countries such as the UK, Germany, Singapore, Italy, France, and Sweden.

Intersec Dubai 2026 will also present a comprehensive conference program featuring the International Security Leaders Summit, Fire and Rescue Conference, Health & Safety Conference, Access Control Theatre, and the SIRA Forum. Experts will discuss key topics such as AI in policing, predictive analytics in emergency response, workforce protection in high-risk environments, and smart infrastructure security.

Aligned with the ‘1 Billion Readiness’ initiative, the Passive Fire Day, hosted by the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), will highlight advancements in fire safety awareness and prevention.

Eng. Khalid Al Khatib, CEO of NAFFCO, said the company values Intersec as a global platform for innovation and collaboration. He emphasized that the event enables NAFFCO to showcase next-generation technologies and contribute to the future of fire protection.

The exhibition continues to receive strong support from key UAE government entities, including the General Command of Dubai Civil Defense, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), Dubai Municipality, the Cyber Security Council, and the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC).
