During GITEX GLOBAL 2025, Huawei hosted a forum themed “Building AI Campuses Together to Achieve All Intelligence.” The event brought together global business leaders, industry partners, and technical experts. They explored how AI and emerging ICTs can drive the digital and intelligent transformation of campuses.

At the forum, Huawei and Oman Airports jointly unveiled an intelligent campus showcase. Eric Li, President of Product Portfolio Marketing & Solution Sales Dept at Huawei, delivered the opening speech. He highlighted that Huawei has helped over 1,000 customers worldwide build 10 Gbps, digital, and green intelligent campuses. He also emphasized that AI will accelerate the intelligent transformation of campuses.

Eric He, CEO of Huawei Campus Team, reported that campuses are becoming the hub for energy and information revolutions. He revealed that Huawei, together with partners, launched eCampusCore 2.0. These AI campuses feature HI-AI coexistence, all-scenario connectivity, and space as a service, providing ubiquitous intelligent spaces for work and life.

Shawn Zhao, President of the Campus Network Domain, Data Communication Product Line at Huawei, announced upgrades to High-Quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus 2.0. The improvements enhance wireless connectivity, application performance, operations, maintenance, and security. He noted this transition is shifting campus networks from connectivity-centric to experience-centric, boosting intelligence and success in the AI era.

Oman Airports, in partnership with Huawei, unveiled the intelligent campus showcase. Basim Al Lawati, Vice President of ICT Infrastructure & Security at Oman Airports, reported that it is the world’s first airport to adopt Wi-Fi 7. The showcase uses over 4,700 Wi-Fi 7 access points and dynamic-zoom smart antennas across more than 1 million square meters. Huawei’s iMaster NCE platform enables real-time network visualization, optimization, and troubleshooting, improving O&M efficiency by 90%.

Huawei’s Integrated Campus Security Solution protects the airport around the clock. SuperCoding technology reduces the space needed to store videos. These new ICTs demonstrate Oman Airports’ leadership in smart airport innovation.

Huawei also revealed collaborative solutions with partners. Johnson Zhang, CEO of Huazhao Technology, introduced an Intelligent Office Conference Room Solution featuring Wi-Fi 7 CSI sensing, IdeaHub screen collaboration, and AI capabilities for enterprises and governments. Jane Zhuang, Market Director of Bittel Group, shared a next-generation Smart Hotel Solution combining AI, IoT, and Wi-Fi 7 CSI sensing, offering secure and convenient accommodation experiences.

Huawei concluded that the AI campus vision is taking shape. The company will continue working with global customers and partners to bring intelligence to every campus, driving digital and intelligent transformation across industries.
