Nutanix has expanded its hybrid multicloud footprint in the Middle East. The company announced that its Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) are now available on Google Cloud’s Dammam region. As a result, businesses across the Kingdom gain new tools to accelerate digital transformation.

The move builds on a broader partnership with Google Cloud. Both companies first revealed the collaboration at LEAP Saudi Arabia. Now, that partnership has reached a key milestone.

With NC2 live in Dammam, organizations can extend their on-premises Nutanix systems into Google Cloud. Moreover, they can do so while keeping a consistent operating model. As a result, companies gain flexibility to migrate applications, support disaster recovery, and manage capacity demands. Importantly, none of this requires rearchitecting existing applications.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation push continues under Vision 2030. Therefore, many organizations are turning to hybrid multicloud strategies. These approaches balance innovation with data residency and operational consistency. Consequently, the Dammam launch lets customers keep workloads closer to users. At the same time, they can meet local regulatory requirements while tapping into Google Cloud’s scalable, AI-ready infrastructure.

Similarly, Khalid Alohali, Head of Customer Engineering at Google Cloud Saudi Arabia, highlighted the significance of the launch. “Bringing Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) to Google Cloud’s Dammam region is a key milestone in our mission to support local enterprises on their hybrid cloud journeys,” he said. “This collaboration provides organizations with a seamless path to extend their on-premises environments to Google Cloud, enabling them to run applications with low latency, simplify operations, and accelerate innovation without the need to rearchitect their systems.”

In practice, NC2 on Google Cloud allows organizations to move applications between on-premises Nutanix systems and Google Cloud with minimal disruption. Additionally, customers can extend infrastructure to address capacity needs, speed up modernization efforts, and deploy disaster recovery setups. Because familiar management tools, security policies, and operating models remain in place, businesses can adopt the cloud without costly refactoring.

Since its debut, NC2 on Google Cloud has supported organizations worldwide in building hybrid multicloud architectures. It combines Nutanix’s operational simplicity with Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure and advanced capabilities.

Furthermore, the new availability makes it easier for customers to connect NC2-based applications with Google Cloud services. These include AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-native development tools. Thus, organizations can innovate faster while maintaining consistency across private and public cloud environments.

Ultimately, this expansion strengthens Nutanix’s position in the region’s hybrid multicloud market. NC2 on Google Cloud in the Dammam region is available immediately through Nutanix and its channel partners.
