NVIDIA RTX Spark laptop has arrived in the UAE. MSI unveiled the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ in Dubai on 9 October 2026. It is the company’s first laptop developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. Redington is the exclusive distribution partner for the first wave of the launch in the UAE and is supporting its rollout across the wider Middle East.

One Machine, Three Jobs

The MSI Prestige N16 AI+ is a 2-in-1 and is built for people who want to run AI locally, create and game on a single portable device. It targets AI developers, creators, students and business professionals.

It packs a 16-inch OLED touchscreen and a 360° flip design. The MSI Nano Pen is included. The whole machine weighs under 1.9kg.

Redington Powers the Regional Launch

Redington is MSI’s exclusive distribution partner for the first wave of Prestige N16 AI+ notebooks in the UAE, with Virgin Megastore as the exclusive retail partner for this initial release. Together, MSI, Redington and Virgin Megastore have brought the Prestige N16 AI+ to the UAE and wider Middle East market.

The launch builds on Redington’s relationship with MSI and its regional distribution capabilities, bringing the latest generation of AI computing to consumers and professionals in the UAE.

Sukhil Nair, President, UAE, Redington, said, “If you look at how far mobile computing has come, the progress is quite remarkable. Not too long ago, the kind of performance we’re now seeing in high-end laptops would have meant looking at a dedicated workstation or a much larger system. Today, devices like the MSI Prestige N16 AI+ show how much is possible in a portable form factor, combining high-performance computing with the capabilities needed for an increasingly AI-driven world.

“As AI becomes a bigger part of business and everyday life, this evolution takes on even greater importance. We’re no longer talking about laptops simply getting faster; we’re talking about giving professionals the ability to do more, wherever they are. From demanding creative workflows to AI-assisted productivity, mobile computing has evolved beyond what many of us would have imagined just a few years ago. And I believe we’re only beginning to see what these devices will make possible.”

Pick Your Power Level

Two configurations are on sale for the MSI Prestige N16 AI+:

  • 128GB / 2TB, 16″ UHD+ Tandem OLED: AED 29,999. Built for heavy local AI with 120B+ parameter models, 3D work and professional colour grading.
  • 64GB / 1TB, 16″ 2.8K OLED: AED 18,999. Made for developers, students and creators who want strong AI and creative performance at a more accessible price. MSI recommends it for most professionals.

Both come with a 120Hz DCI-P3 touchscreen with Gorilla Glass. Both run Windows 11 Pro and come in Platinum Gray.

A Superchip Under the Hood

The NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X integrates a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores and a 20-core Grace CPU. Together, they deliver up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance.

Memory is shared between CPU and GPU. With up to 128GB of LPDDR5X, 120B+ parameter models can run entirely on the device.

Cooling keeps pace. A Vapor Chamber with IntraFlow and Silent Cooling holds performance steady during long AI and creation sessions.

Giant AI Models, Running Locally

The launch event put on-device AI centre stage. MSI showed the Prestige N16 AI+ working with advanced models locally, without relying entirely on the cloud.

The lineup included:

  1. NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3.5 Super VL: a 120B vision-language MoE model (12B active) for multimodal reasoning and tool use, with up to 1M tokens of context.
  2. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash: a 552B multimodal Mixture-of-Experts model for coding, reasoning, visual understanding and long-context agents. It has 8B/16B active parameters and a 1M-token context window.
  3. Minimax M2: a 230B MoE (10B active) model built for coding and agentic workflows.
  4. Minimax H3: a multimodal video generation model. It produces native 2K, 24fps audiovisual clips of up to 15 seconds, with synchronized stereo audio.

The message was clear. Advanced AI workloads can now move onto a mobile platform. Professionals can experiment and create beyond traditional cloud-based solutions.

Sketch, Speak, Present

The event also showed how this power fits everyday work. The pen turns the laptop into a more natural way to talk to Microsoft’s CoPilot assistant.

Users can launch Copilot through the pen’s microphone feature. They can also sketch an idea and turn it into a polished presentation with AI assistance. The pen docks in a built-in groove, so it is always at hand.

The flip design adds laptop, tent, tablet and desk modes. That suits people who move between brainstorming, planning and execution. A creative professional can develop a concept. A project manager can pitch an idea. A strategist can explore new approaches.

A Display Made for Detail

The 128GB model features a 16:10 UHD+ Tandem OLED touchscreen. Its key specifications include:

  • Resolution of up to 3840 × 2400
  • Variable refresh rate of 30 to 120Hz
  • 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage (typical) and Delta E below 1
  • VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000, with up to 1600 nits peak brightness
  • SGS-certified Low Blue Light technology

The 64GB model’s 2.8K OLED panel also offers True Black 1000, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E below 1 colour accuracy.

Tandem OLED uses a dual-layer emissive structure. According to MSI, this boosts brightness and efficiency. It also extends display longevity compared with traditional OLED panels.

Slim, Fast-Charging and Well Connected

Despite the large screen, the chassis measures just 13.9 to 16.9mm thick. That makes it easier to carry workstation capabilities between meetings, offices and work environments.

The 99.9Wh battery supports USB-C PD up to 140W. It can recharge 50% in 30 minutes.

Connectivity includes:

  • 2x USB4 Type-C (DP 2.1 / PD 3.1)
  • 2x USB-A 3.2
  • HDMI 2.1 (8K@120Hz)
  • SD card reader
  • Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4

As a Copilot+ PC, it also brings AI Noise Cancellation, Windows Hello and the native Arm MSI Center S with AI Zone.

Who Is It Built For?

MSI points to four groups:

  • AI developers and engineers: build and test local AI agents, run 120B+ models privately and use the CUDA ecosystem.
  • Students, researchers and AI enthusiasts: learn, fine-tune and experiment with agentic AI tools.
  • 3D artists, video editors and designers: benefit from large unified memory, a colour-accurate OLED display and pen input.
  • Project managers, business and IT professionals: gain on-device AI privacy, Windows Hello security, TPM-based protection and all-day battery life.

A Laptop for Gaming, Creating and Working

Mudit Nigam, NB Marketing Manager at MSI, said: “What’s exciting about this new generation of RTX Spark powered MSI Prestige series laptops is that it’s redefining what a single device can achieve. For gamers, it delivers the performance, visual fidelity and responsiveness needed for increasingly demanding titles. But the real excitement lies in how this same technology extends into the workplace, enabling professionals to run AI workloads locally, accelerate creative tasks and experiment with generative AI while maintaining greater control over their data. I think we’ve arrived at a point where we no longer need to have separate machines for gaming, creativity and serious productivity. The MSI Prestige N16 AI+ can do all three.”

The Takeaway

AI laptops are no longer just about built-in AI features. They are about bringing AI into the tools people already use and making it useful every day. By combining MSI’s technology, Redington’s distribution reach and Virgin Megastore’s retail presence, the launch brings on-device AI closer to professionals across the region.
