Eurotech, a specialist in sheet metal design and manufacturing, announced the successful completion of a major core system overhaul. The company migrated to Epicor Kinetic, the latest cloud-based ERP from Epicor.

The move has already delivered measurable results, including a 15% increase in turnover, tripled revenue expectations, improved operational efficiency, and faster, data-driven decision-making.

Eurotech operates in the Middle East’s competitive and fast-growing manufacturing sector. Founded over two decades ago, the company has expanded beyond sheet metal fabrication into new product lines and regions. This growth introduced greater operational complexity, which prompted the need for a modern ERP platform to unify processes and support automation.

The decision to upgrade was a natural step for Eurotech, which has relied on Epicor ERP since 2008. After evaluating other solutions from Microsoft and Oracle NetSuite, the company selected Epicor Kinetic for its manufacturing-specific functionality and proven cloud capabilities.

Benoit Rondard, Managing Director of Eurotech, revealed that ERP has always been at the core of the company’s operations. He said that Eurotech invests in advanced solutions to drive innovation and growth, with Epicor Kinetic being central to that strategy.

The cloud-based migration was completed in just six months. It included a seamless database transfer and rapid integration with other business systems. Employees can now securely access ERP data from anywhere, eliminating VPN requirements and boosting productivity.

Epicor Kinetic has transformed Eurotech’s operations by enabling real-time, data-driven decisions. Integrated dashboards offer live visibility into production, finances, and supply chain performance.

  • Shop-floor operators can monitor machine output per hour.
  • The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) captures detailed production data to calculate costs and margins.

These tools have helped Eurotech improve pricing accuracy, planning, and resource management.

Vibhu Kapoor, Regional VP for Middle East, Africa, and India at Epicor, stated that Eurotech’s transformation mirrors a wider trend across the region. He noted that manufacturers embracing cloud ERP gain agility and insight to thrive in fast-evolving markets.

Eurotech continues to invest in automation and digitalisation. The company is extending Epicor Kinetic to its new Qatar facility and integrating it with Shopify to automate replenishment for standardised products.

Rondard added that the company aims to fully automate standard product lines in the coming years. He emphasized that Epicor Kinetic remains the backbone of Eurotech’s connected and automated manufacturing vision.
