Genetec Inc. announced that it will demonstrate the latest updates to its Security Center platform at Intersec 2026. The event will take place from 12 to 14 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The company reported that organizations across the Middle East are modernizing and expanding security operations in urban, commercial, and critical infrastructure environments. Physical security is increasingly seen as a strategic function supporting better collaboration, operational awareness, and informed decision-making.

According to the Genetec 2026 State of Physical Security Report, based on insights from over 7,300 security professionals, demand for unified systems is growing. The report revealed that more than 70% of respondents use integrated systems. It also highlighted that 60% replace legacy technology to access new capabilities, while 51% cite new features as a key driver.

The report further noted rising expectations around vendor trust and partnerships. About 73% of users consider vendor viability and stability important when evaluating solutions. Interest in AI is also increasing. AI has become a top project priority for 2026, with adoption interest more than doubling among end users since last year.

At Intersec 2026, Genetec will showcase Security Center SaaS with new intrusion management capabilities and the Genetec Cloudlink™ 210 appliance. The company reported that these innovations allow organizations to modernize at their own pace, with flexible cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployments.

Genetec also revealed advancements in AI-powered analytics, vehicle intelligence, and Security Center 5.13. These features aim to strengthen operational awareness, speed up investigations, and improve responses in high-demand environments.
