Huawei showcased a series of AI-powered innovations at MWC Barcelona 2026. The company highlighted collaborative initiatives aimed at accelerating digital and intelligent transformation across transportation, industry, and financial services.

The announcements reflect Huawei’s strategy to embed AI, advanced connectivity, and digital platforms into enterprise operations. For Middle East countries pursuing digital transformation and economic diversification, these solutions promise stronger operational resilience, improved efficiency, and new value creation across strategic industries.

At the transportation forum, Huawei brought together industry leaders, partners, and customers to explore intelligent mobility systems. David Shi, Vice President of Huawei ICT Marketing and Solution Sales, emphasized the role of 5G, AI, and cloud in reshaping transportation networks.

Huawei introduced five new solutions, including the Transportation Operations Coordination Center for urban mobility management, a next-generation railway network, a big data risk control platform for customs, and an AI-powered port scheduling agent. These innovations aim to enhance safety, efficiency, and digital mobility ecosystems.

At the Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit, Huawei shared 115 industrial intelligence showcases across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, finance, retail, oil and gas, public services, and smart cities. The company unveiled 22 new industry-specific solutions and the ACT Pathway framework to implement intelligence at scale.

Huawei also upgraded its SHAPE 2.0 partner program. The program integrates AI across products, joint innovation, partner development, and ecosystem collaboration to drive intelligent transformation.

In financial services, Huawei presented new Banking AI and Foundation Model Solutions. Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU, stressed the importance of resilience, cybersecurity, and intelligent operations as banks transition into the AI era.

Enhanced capabilities include the SuperPoD AI computing infrastructure, an upgraded AI Data Platform, and the Xinghe AI Network. Huawei’s solutions reduce AI development cycles and improve operational efficiency, latency, and accuracy.

Huawei’s RongHai ecosystem now includes over 150 solution partners and 11,000 consulting, service, and integration partners worldwide. Together, they aim to accelerate AI integration in banking, insurance, and securities, enabling smarter customer interactions and risk management.

Across all sectors, Huawei emphasized collaboration with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive industry-wide intelligence. From transportation to industrial production and financial infrastructure, Huawei’s AI-powered solutions continue to unlock efficiency, resilience, and innovation across industries.
