Acer Predator has refreshed its Predator Helios Neo gaming laptops with the latest-generation CPUs and GPUs. The new lineup delivers desktop-class performance for gamers. Acer Predator introduces upgraded models powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus series processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.

As a result, the new devices focus on higher performance, advanced AI features, and improved display technology. In addition, the lineup targets gamers who need both portability and high-end gaming power.

New Processor and GPU Performance

Acer Predator equips the refreshed series with Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus series processors. These chips are designed for improved responsiveness and sustained performance. Moreover, they support gaming and productivity workloads with optimized efficiency.

On the graphics side, the laptops feature up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. Built on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, the GPU delivers enhanced AI performance. In addition, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 improves frame generation and overall visual output for modern games.

Predator Helios Neo 16S AI

The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (PHN16S-I71) is the slim model in the series. It measures under 18.9 mm in thickness. Therefore, it is designed for portability and competitive gaming on the move.

It is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. Furthermore, it features a 16-inch OLED HDR WQXGA display with 240 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The display is Calman Verified and supports 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy.

In addition, the device includes Predator AeroBlade 3D Fan cooling and liquid metal thermal grease for thermal control.

Predator Helios Neo 16 AI

The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-I71) focuses on balanced performance and features. It also supports up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.

Moreover, it includes a 16-inch OLED HDR WQXGA display with 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. Connectivity features include Intel Killer Ethernet E3100 and Thunderbolt 4. Therefore, it is optimized for gaming and streaming performance.

Cooling is supported by AeroBlade 3D Fan technology, liquid metal thermal solution, and vector heat pipes.

Predator Helios Neo 18 AI

The Predator Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-I71) is the largest model in the lineup. It features an 18-inch WQXGA display with 240 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

Additionally, it includes Ambient Contrast Ratio (ACR) film to reduce glare and improve contrast. As a result, visuals remain clear in bright environments.

Like the other models, it supports up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. It also includes advanced cooling with AeroBlade 3D Fan and liquid metal thermal grease.

AI Features and Software

Acer Predator integrates AI-driven features across the lineup. PredatorSense allows real-time control of performance and fan speeds. Meanwhile, Acer Intelligence Space offers tools like Game Assistant and ProCam.

Availability

The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI will be available in North America from July 2026 and in EMEA from June 2026. It will also launch in Australia in July 2026.
