e& UAE and Accenture have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch an AI Transformation Alliance. The partnership aims to speed up digital and AI-led transformation across government and enterprise sectors in the UAE. Additionally, the two companies may extend the collaboration into select international markets in the future.

Under the agreement, e& UAE and Accenture plan to jointly develop offerings and coordinate market engagement. Furthermore, they intend to deliver complex transformation programmes through a shared operating model. As a result, the companies expect to build a long-term portfolio of large-scale transformation opportunities across priority sectors.

The collaboration follows a coordinated delivery model. Specifically, e& UAE and Accenture will work together to identify opportunities, develop integrated solutions, and execute large-scale digital and AI programmes. Meanwhile, commercial, governance, and accountability frameworks will be agreed between both parties to support this work.

Abdulla Al Ahmed, Chief Government & VVIP Relations Officer at e& UAE, said organisations are looking for practical ways to move from AI strategy to implementation. He added that the MoU brings together e& UAE’s digital infrastructure, connectivity, and technology capabilities with Accenture’s consulting and delivery expertise. Consequently, he expects the coordinated model to help customers simplify transformation programmes and accelerate execution.

Joint governance structures will oversee opportunity development, commercial alignment, performance, and risk. In addition, repeatable methodologies, solution frameworks, and delivery assets are meant to support consistent execution across different customers, sectors, and markets.

Xavier Anglada, Managing Director of Accenture Middle East and Africa, said AI is reshaping how organisations operate, compete, and serve people. However, he noted that scaling AI successfully requires the right mix of strategy, technology, data, and execution. Through the MoU, he said, the companies intend to explore how their combined capabilities can help clients move from ambition to measurable outcomes.

For government and enterprise customers, this approach is expected to reduce delivery complexity and improve coordination. Moreover, it should provide access to an integrated portfolio spanning connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI. This, in turn, may help organisations modernise operations and roll out new digital services more quickly.
