Acer has announced the Veriton RI110, an AI mini workstation designed for organizations running local and hybrid AI workloads. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor 358H and Intel Arc B390 graphics, the system is intended for AI-assisted content creation, inference, design, and everyday productivity.

Built for advanced AI workloads

The workstation supports AI models with up to 120 billion parameters. It offers up to 96 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 4 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, supporting multitasking and work with complex datasets, models, and creative projects.

The Veriton RI110 runs Windows 11 Pro and is a Copilot+ PC. Acer says its AI tools can help with content creation, collaboration, and workflow tasks.

Local agentic AI options

The system supports sandbox environments for running AI agents. Users can download and deploy their preferred solutions, including Acer Qubi Claw.

Acer says Qubi Claw runs local workflows in an isolated sandbox. It offers one-click installation and ready-to-use AI skills, including online research, travel itinerary recommendations, and converting audio into translated text notes. Users can schedule tasks to run autonomously or as needed. Acer plans to expand support for compatible models, skills, and channels.

OCuLink expansion and connectivity

An OCuLink interface based on PCIe 4.0 x4 supports connections to external GPUs and high-speed NVMe storage, with bandwidth of up to 64 Gbps. Acer says the connection can reduce latency compared with traditional connections by providing a direct link to external devices.

The workstation also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual LAN ports rated at 10GbE and 2.5GbE, and fingerprint authentication. Its ports include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, two USB 4 Type-C ports, and USB Type-A and Type-C connections. A Kensington lock slot is also included.

The system measures 138.5 by 131.3 by 52.1 mm and weighs approximately 0.63 kg. It is supplied with a 120 W AC adapter.
