The Acronis Cyber Foundation Program celebrates its fifth anniversary. Launched in 2018, the initiative aims to make education more accessible worldwide.

The Program began with school construction and expanded to IT training, disaster relief, and environmental projects. Over the years, it has built 18 schools and is constructing five more in 22 countries. More than 5,500 students now have access to education through these efforts.

Twelve schools have received computer classrooms. These offer students the chance to learn in a digital environment and build skills for future careers.

The Program’s IT training initiatives have reached over 14,000 participants. It has also provided aid to 5,000 people in underserved regions. The work benefits not just communities, but also Acronis volunteers. Around 92% continue participating each year.

In Singapore, the IT program helped 120 students gain certifications. Over 70% found jobs within a month of completing the course. In Switzerland, Acronis partnered with Integres to help migrants develop career skills. More than 70 students have been supported in three years.

CEO Patrick Pulvermueller said the Program’s success is due to strong partnerships. He praised the impact of the Schools Initiative and IT training efforts. These programs offer new opportunities to those in need.

Sebastian Noelting, MD of RNT Rausch, echoed the value of education in fighting poverty. He built a school in the Dominican Republic with Acronis and believes global education is key to progress.

The Program works with partners like GoDaddy, CloudFest, RNT Rausch, Zebra Systems, and others. Groundbreaker, its charity partner, manages compliance and construction logistics.

Leoni Rossberg, Groundbreaker’s Co-Founder, praised Acronis for its dedication to global education. She said their efforts are an example of how corporate responsibility can drive change.

Acronis encourages companies of all sizes to partner with them. The Foundation offers support for joint community development strategies that create long-term impact.
