Acer Launches Nitro V Series: AI-Powered Gaming Laptops

Acer has launched the new Nitro V series, a lineup of entry-level gaming laptops designed to make AI-powered gaming more accessible. Featuring various screen sizes and configurations, these laptops cater to students, content creators, and gamers looking for high performance, smooth visuals, and ample storage to support evolving AI applications.

The Nitro V series comes with three months of PC Game Pass, offering access to top titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Ara: History Untold. Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 350 processor with Zen 5 architecture, these laptops optimize battery life and responsiveness, making them ideal for gaming and content creation. Copilot+ PCs with an NPU capable of up to 50 AI TOPS enable generative AI experiences like Cocreator in Paint, while AI-powered NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPUs with DLSS 3.5 deliver lifelike graphics. With up to 32GB of memory and 2TB of storage, the Nitro V AI series ensures smooth performance for demanding applications.

The new Nitro V models include the Nitro V 17 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 14 AI, each offering high-refresh-rate displays for immersive visuals. The Nitro V 17 AI features a 17.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 100% color accuracy, while the Nitro V 16 AI offers a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution with up to 180 Hz refresh rate and sRGB 100% support. The Nitro V 14 AI comes with a WQXGA display and 165 Hz refresh rate, with a distinctive white pearl-like finish that sets it apart from traditional gaming laptop designs.

Acer also introduced the Nitro V 15 AI (ANV15-42) and Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52), featuring AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS and Intel® Core™ 7 processor 240H, respectively. Both models offer a 15.6-inch FHD (1920×1080) display with a 180 Hz refresh rate, 3 ms response time, and 100% sRGB color support, ensuring fluid gameplay.

The NitroSense key allows users to fine-tune performance and access the Experience Zone 2.0, while Acer PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView use AI to reduce background noise and enhance video clarity for uninterrupted gaming and communication.

The Nitro V 17 AI will be available in EMEA in June, starting at $1,299, while the Nitro V 16 AI will launch in July at $1,299. The Nitro V 15 AI will be available in January starting at $849, and the Nitro V 15 (Intel variant) will arrive in April at $1,999. The Nitro V 14 AI is set for release in April at $1,099.
