Delinea, an identity security platform, will spotlight new controls for AI agents at GISEC Global 2026. The company governs what humans, machines and AI agents do once they gain access to systems.

Delinea’s presence at GISEC carries the theme “From Access to Action: Governing AI at Runtime.” The focus is on a growing need. Organisations must govern the actions autonomous AI agents take after access has been granted.

This summer, Delinea released new runtime authorisation capabilities for AI agents. At GISEC, the company will build on that momentum. It plans to advance the conversation around runtime authorisation. This approach enforces policy on an agent’s actions within a session. It applies control at the exact moment those actions are executed.

AI agents are taking on increasingly autonomous roles. They now operate across databases, cloud environments, infrastructure and business systems. As a result, the security challenge is shifting. It is moving beyond authentication alone. An agent may have legitimate access to a system. However, it can still take an action that exceeds its intended task. That action can create operational risk. Delinea’s runtime authorisation capabilities address this gap. They let organisations apply policy at the point of action. Activity can be allowed, blocked or escalated before it executes.

“AI adoption is moving the identity-security conversation beyond the moment of authentication,” said Mortada Ayad, VP Sales at Delinea. He noted that the real question for organisations has changed. It is no longer simply whether an AI agent can access a critical system. Instead, it is whether they can govern what that agent does once inside. At GISEC, Delinea wants to place that challenge at the centre of the regional conversation.

For this year’s show, Delinea has adopted a channel-led presence. This reflects its focus on regional partners. Enterprises rely on these partners to deploy, manage and operationalise complex security programmes. Delinea will appear at the stands of regional distributor Shifra and integrator partner Defa3. Through these partnerships, the company aims to deepen engagement with existing partners. It also plans to recruit new partners. Additionally, it will build the specialist capabilities needed to support secure AI adoption across the region.

This approach builds on the Delinea Partner Advantage Program. The program launched in July 2026. It gives partners clearer rules of engagement. It also offers deal protection, tiered incentives and AI-driven enablement. In turn, partners can build profitable identity-security practices. Customers benefit from stronger outcomes as a result. The program currently supports selling partners. However, expanding roles are planned for managed service providers, global systems integrators, advisory partners and technology partners.

“For a capability this consequential, technology alone is not enough,” Ayad added. Customers need partners who understand their environment and their risk, he explained. Partners must also know how to translate security policy into practical control. Therefore, Delinea’s focus at GISEC is to equip and grow that ecosystem. This way, organisations can move forward with AI. At the same time, they can be confident that authorised access does not become unchecked action.

Delinea’s runtime authorisation for AI agents covers a wide range of systems. These include databases, SSH hosts, Kubernetes clusters and cloud consoles. The system relies on just-in-time, task-scoped access. It also applies real-time policy enforcement. Consequently, organisations can reduce their reliance on standing credentials. At the same time, they can maintain a defensible record of AI-driven activity.
