Digital Dubai has signed a strategic agreement with Microsoft to enhance the artificial intelligence (AI) knowledge and skills of government employees, aligning with Dubai’s comprehensive AI strategy.
The initiative is designed to foster a knowledge-driven, application-oriented culture across government sectors, accelerating innovation and strengthening Dubai’s position as a global digital leader. It also supports the emirate’s vision of a digital knowledge economy in line with the directives of its leadership.
The AI training programme consists of three tailored tracks:
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, emphasized the initiative’s importance, stating, “Developing digital skills is central to our strategy to accelerate Dubai’s digital transformation. AI is the foundation of our future plans, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global digital city. Our partnership with Microsoft will equip government employees with AI expertise, driving the emirate’s economic agenda.”
Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, added, “We are excited to support Digital Dubai in empowering government professionals with AI skills. This initiative will enhance Dubai’s digital competitiveness, foster innovation, and strengthen the UAE’s role as a global technology hub.”
The programme will run for one year, equipping government employees with essential AI skills to drive digital transformation in Dubai.
