Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Dubai AI Week is now underway. The event is organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) and supervised by the Dubai Future Foundation. It brings together global technology companies, government entities, and key industry stakeholders.
Dubai AI Week serves as a vital platform to enhance public-private collaboration. It aims to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and drive innovation that supports global progress and sustainable growth.
Strategic partners include Digital Dubai, DEWA, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and the UAE AI Office. Local entities such as Dubai Health Authority, GDRFA, DET, Dubai Police, DAMAC, and du are also participating.
The event features major global tech firms like Google Cloud, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, NVIDIA, and OpenAI. Companies like Palantir, Cohere, Eleven Labs, Swift, HP, and Accenture are also present. Knowledge Partners include PwC, BCG, and QuantumBlack AI by McKinsey.
HE Saeed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, noted that Dubai AI Week reflects the leadership’s vision to make Dubai a global AI hub. He highlighted DEWA’s strategic roadmap to become the world’s first AI-powered utility provider.
HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, emphasized that the event builds on the city’s legacy of innovation. He stated that Digital Dubai is showcasing AI initiatives aligned with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
HE Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the digital economy, driven by AI, is key to future growth. He affirmed the Chamber’s commitment to attracting AI-driven startups.
HE Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, underlined the importance of bridging policy with innovation. He described Dubai AI Week as a unique initiative reinforcing the city’s global AI leadership.
Global executives echoed similar sentiments. IBM’s Shukri Eid said the company is committed to responsible AI. Microsoft’s Naim Yazbeck stressed the importance of upskilling and shared the goal to train one million UAE learners in AI by 2027.
Meta’s Basma Ammari praised the UAE’s open approach to AI and highlighted Meta’s support for startups. BCG’s Faisal Hamady said the UAE is becoming a global voice in AI innovation. PwC’s Ali Hosseini shared how the firm is helping clients adopt AI effectively. Google Cloud’s Ziad Jammal reaffirmed the importance of public-private cooperation in advancing AI.
Dubai AI Week features a packed agenda. Key events include the AI Retreat, Global Prompt Engineering Championship, Dubai Assembly for AI, and Machines Can See Summit. Additional activities like the Dubai AI Week Hackathon, HIMSS Executive Summit, and AI Week in Schools round out the program.
