FUJIFILM Middle East and Africa announced the inauguration of its new regional offices at Expo City Dubai. The innovation-driven hub is designed as a blueprint for sustainable urban living and is positioned as a center for Dubai’s future growth.

The company revealed that the site will also host the FUJIFILM Technology Center (FTC). This facility will support training for employees, business partners, and end-users across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

FUJIFILM brings globally recognized expertise to vital sectors in the region. As a leader in healthcare, imaging, and printing technologies, the company offers innovative solutions that include diagnostic imaging systems. These systems are helping raise healthcare standards in the UAE and align with the nation’s development goals.

Furthermore, FUJIFILM reported plans to launch AI-driven screening centers, known as NURA, across the region. These centers reflect the company’s commitment to early disease detection and improved health outcomes.

In the past five years, FUJIFILM has more than doubled its staff in countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa. The company said that opening new offices in the UAE reflects a future-focused mindset and aims to enhance access to consumers and partners.

FUJIFILM also highlighted its strong 2024 performance, with expectations of double-digit growth again this year.

H.E. Ken Okaniwa, Ambassador of Japan to the UAE, welcomed the inauguration. He stated that FUJIFILM’s investment in healthcare, imaging, and printing technologies highlights the strong UAE-Japan relationship. He also emphasized the UAE’s role as a global business hub.

Manal AlBayat, Chief Engagement Officer at Expo City Dubai, said FUJIFILM’s move supports the city’s position as a center for innovation and sustainability. She added that the company’s knowledge-sharing mission aligns with the ecosystem’s goals.

The FUJIFILM Technology Center features a wide range of solutions for live demonstrations. Visitors can test various products and services on-site.

Masataka Akiyama, President and CEO of FUJIFILM Europe, noted the importance of the new center. He said it will serve as a platform for product showcases, hands-on training, and expert-led lectures. He also reported plans to host global imaging and printing experts in Dubai to exchange ideas and deliver advanced solutions.

Michio Kondo, Managing Director of FUJIFILM Middle East and Africa, described the new offices as a milestone in the company’s journey. He stated that the space will foster co-creation, new partnerships, and the development of high-tech solutions to benefit both people and economies.

At the end of last year, FUJIFILM signed six Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading healthcare institutions in Saudi Arabia. These partnerships aim to boost digital healthcare, improve efficiency, and enhance patient outcomes.

FUJIFILM also revealed plans to hire new talent to support operations at the Technology Center. The company reaffirmed its role in developing regional capabilities and promoting knowledge sharing.
