GESS Dubai 2024 Launches, Showcasing EdTech and Wellbeing

Returning for its 17th edition, GESS Dubai, organized by Informa Connect, opened yesterday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing thousands of educators and industry leaders eager to discover advancements in education technology, wellbeing, and sustainability.

Officially inaugurated by Butti Saeed Al Ghandi, Vice-Chairman of DWTC, this year’s GESS Dubai serves as a significant platform for forward-thinking discussions and hands-on experiences tailored to the evolving needs of the Middle East’s education sector.

As schools navigate new educational standards and tech-driven teaching tools, GESS Dubai 2024 addresses these challenges with a curated agenda focusing on student engagement, wellbeing, global best practices, and eco-friendly learning environments. Day 1 highlights included essential topics for educators, from digital fluency to holistic student development, led by exhibitors and a world-class speaker lineup.

Additionally, new strategies for gamifying education were explored, offering fresh approaches to engage students actively and make learning more dynamic in the digital age.
