GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence (AI) exhibition, has announced major showcases in biotechnology, physical AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and data centres.

The event will run from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It will bring together more than 6,800 technology companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, uniting innovators driving the next phase of AI infrastructure growth.

According to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the global AI market is projected to reach US$4.8 trillion by 2033. This rapid growth highlights the rising importance of the event.

Global technology leaders including Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens, and Snowflake will participate. New exhibitors such as Cerebras, Datadog, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, Rittal, ServiceNow, Tata Electronics, Telecom Italia, and Tenstorrent will also join.

Running in parallel, GITEX’s startup showcase, Expand North Star, will be held from 12th to 15th October at Dubai Harbour. Hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, it will celebrate its 10th edition and connect 2,000 startups with over 1,200 investors managing US$1.1 trillion in assets.

Trixie LohMirmand, EVP of DWTC, the organiser of GITEX globally, revealed that sectors such as data centres, biotech, quantum, and robotics are now converging with AI innovation to address humanity’s biggest challenges.

This year marks a record level of international participation. Brazil joins as Country Partner with its largest-ever tech delegation. Serbia and Pakistan also partner, while new pavilions from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, and Türkiye debut alongside expanded representation from Europe, Central Asia, LATAM, Africa, and the Levant.

ApexBrasil COO Tatiana Riera said the event offers Brazil an opportunity to showcase its innovation capabilities. Marko Čadež, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reported that Serbian startups will highlight AI solutions across well-being, energy, and sentiment analysis.

The event will also focus on rising data centre investments, expected to exceed US$500 billion in 2025. O’Leary Ventures will present plans to build the world’s largest AI data centre industrial park in Canada.

Khazna CEO Hassan Alnaqbi, representing MENA’s largest hyperscale data centre provider and a G42 company, will discuss how infrastructure and policy can scale to meet giga AI factory demands.

In biotech, breakthroughs in gene editing, mRNA vaccines, and AI-led drug discoveries are pushing global spending towards US$1.7 trillion in 2025. Trevor Martin, CEO of Mammoth Biosciences, will explain how CRISPR technology is using AI to cure genetic diseases. Paradromics CEO Matt Angle will discuss decoding thought through AI and neurotech, while HurayPositive from South Korea will unveil AI-powered precision medicine for chronic patients.

Tensor will introduce the world’s first personal robocar, described as “agentic AI on wheels.” K2 will debut humanoids and a concept vehicle for industrial robotics. With the robotics AI market projected to hit US$94 billion by 2031, these innovations underline the growing impact of Physical AI.

IBM will showcase Quantum System Two, its latest step toward fault-tolerant quantum computing. IBM Gulf VP Shukri Eid stated that GITEX Global is a platform for collaboration among innovators and policymakers shaping AI’s future.

PsiQuantum Co-Founder Prof. Mark Thompson will outline the path to quantum sovereignty, while IONQ will represent the first pure-play quantum computing company listed on the NYSE.

AMD will highlight its Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs designed for high-performance AI workloads. Tenstorrent CEO Jim Keller will discuss semiconductors as key enablers of AI sovereignty.

Expand North Star will feature more than 40 unicorns, reinforcing the UAE’s global scale-up hub status.
Notable highlights include:
• Cerebras unveiling the world’s largest AI supercomputer with G42.
• Fluidstack presenting the first 1GW decarbonised AI supercomputer.
• Xpanceo revealing five AI-powered smart contact lens prototypes for AR, healthcare, and consumer tech.

GITEX Global 2025 continues to establish Dubai as a global hub for artificial intelligence and transformative technologies.
