Google has announced the launch of Veo 3, its latest AI-powered video generation model. The new tool enables users to bring creative visions to life using a powerful mix of visuals and sound.

Veo 3 is now available to all Google AI Pro subscribers across the region. According to Google, the tool is also fully integrated into the Gemini app, allowing users to generate videos by simply writing a scene description known as a “prompt.”

Once a prompt is entered, Veo 3 produces a custom eight-second video in 720p resolution, complete with:

  • Sound effects
  • Dialogue
  • Music

Google revealed that Veo 3 was first introduced at its annual developer event, Google I/O, held in May.

The company reported that Veo 3 excels in delivering realistic physics, high visual quality, and strong prompt adherence. It also generates native audio, including ambient sounds and speech, enhancing the realism of the video output.

To promote transparency, Google confirmed that all content created by its generative AI tools such as Veo 3 features an embedded SynthID watermark. The company also introduced the SynthID Detector for early testers and plans to expand access soon.

Additionally, Google revealed that a visible watermark will be added to all Veo-generated videos. However, this watermark will not appear in videos produced by Ultra members using Flow, Google’s latest tool designed for AI filmmakers.

With Veo 3, Google continues to push the boundaries of AI video generation, offering users more tools to transform their ideas into compelling visual content.
