Group-IB Cybersecurity announced the launch of Fraud Matrix 2.0, a new analytics tool designed to help organizations detect, respond to, and prevent fraud with greater accuracy and speed. The upgraded framework offers enhanced insights into fraudster behaviors, tools, and evolving scam campaigns.

Inspired by the MITRE ATT&CK® framework, Fraud Matrix 2.0 bridges cybersecurity and fraud prevention. It provides a unified view of fraud threats across industries, helping teams understand and counteract complex schemes more effectively.

The tool includes detailed threat actor profiles, fraud software intelligence, and a self-assessment wizard for organizations to evaluate their control measures. Since its launch in 2024, over 80 organizations in 30+ countries have adopted Fraud Matrix, reporting improved detection coverage and faster response times.

Group-IB revealed that detection coverage increased from 55% to 91%, while response times improved by 85.6%. The company continues to collaborate with global cybersecurity communities to advance the framework with shared intelligence and emerging detection strategies.
