At HP Imagine 2026, HP Inc. announced new AI-powered devices, security innovations, and intelligent workflow solutions to support the future of work. The company said these offerings are designed to help businesses and individuals adapt to an increasingly AI-driven workplace.

“As we look ahead, the Future of Work is about making work simpler in a world that’s getting more complex,” said Bruce Broussard, Interim Chief Executive Officer at HP Inc. He added that the company is focused on using AI to create connected experiences that help organizations move faster and enable people to work more effectively.

Despite rapid digital transformation, challenges remain. According to HP’s 2025 Work Relationship Index, only 20% of workers have a healthy relationship with work. Meanwhile, 22% experience monthly technology issues that disrupt focus. However, employees with the right tools are twice as likely to feel positive about their work and report a 33-point improvement in experience scores. HP also noted that its internal deployment of AI PCs resulted in a 16% productivity increase.

To address workplace complexity, HP introduced HP IQ. This platform brings on-device intelligence and proximity-based connectivity together with enterprise manageability. As a result, it aims to improve productivity and collaboration across HP AI PCs and workplace devices.

HP IQ will debut on the next generation of HP EliteBook X G2 AI PCs. Its features include Ask IQ, which responds to text and voice inputs with contextual answers. The Analyze feature enables interaction with files such as PDF, TXT, DOC, and PPT to generate summaries and insights. Additionally, Notes & Knowledge organizes interactions for easy retrieval and sharing. The Meeting Agent captures ideas and records notes during meetings without requiring app switching.

Furthermore, HP IQ can be configured through the HP Workforce Experience Platform and deployed using enterprise tools such as Microsoft Intune.

In addition, HP introduced HP NearSense as part of HP IQ. This spatial intelligence technology enables devices to discover, connect, and collaborate more efficiently. It supports secure PC-to-PC file sharing and single-click meeting access. Over time, HP plans to extend NearSense across its ecosystem, including HP Poly video conferencing solutions and other devices.

HP also unveiled the EliteBook 6 G2q Next Gen AI PC. This device is designed for office and mobile professionals, offering high-performance AI computing, long battery life, and a lightweight design. It supports advanced AI workflows with up to 85 TOPS NPU performance on Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Plus processors. The system also integrates with over 100 ISV partners, including Rakuten, Goodnotes, and Guidde.

Moreover, the device features always-connected capabilities powered by HP Go 5G, ensuring reliable connectivity. It also includes HP Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus and physical intrusion detection to enhance protection.

On the security front, HP introduced new hardware-enforced protections. These include HP TPM Guard, which prevents physical TPM bus attacks and protects BitLocker encryption. The company also expanded HP Wolf Security capabilities to reduce cyber risks and operational overhead.

For document workflows, HP launched the LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 Series and LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 Series. These printers combine AI-powered document processing with quantum-resistant security. The LaserJet Pro series is designed for small businesses, while the Enterprise series targets large organizations with high-speed performance and advanced features such as Scan AI Enhanced and Editable OCR.

HP also introduced a new generation of HP Z Workstations. The HP Z8 Fury supports up to four NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q GPUs and is designed for demanding AI and simulation workloads. Additionally, the HP Max Side Panel increases internal capacity, allowing for larger graphics installations.

The company further updated its mobile workstation lineup with the HP ZBook X G2i, HP ZBook 8 G2i, and ZBook 8G2a. These devices deliver AI workstation performance with improved portability and battery life.

To enhance digital experience management, HP expanded its Workforce Experience Platform. New features include AI-generated remediation paths, telemetry reporting, sustainability insights, and integration with Microsoft Teams. HP also strengthened its large-format ecosystem by connecting HP DesignJet printers with HP Z Workstations for real-time collaboration.

Finally, HP introduced new gaming innovations. These include the HyperX OMEN MAX 45L and OMEN 35L desktops, along with OMEN AI for performance optimization in games such as Minecraft, Roblox, and Marvel Rivals. The OMEN Gaming Hub now offers AI-powered personalization and content creation features through partnerships with HeyGen and Voicemod.

Overall, the announcements at HP Imagine 2026 highlight HP’s strategy to integrate AI, security, and connectivity across its ecosystem to support evolving workplace and user demands.
