The event highlighted Huawei Cloud’s latest innovations, services, and AI-powered solutions, reinforcing its commitment to driving intelligent transformation across industries worldwide.
As artificial intelligence (AI) rapidly reshapes industries, Huawei Cloud remains at the forefront of this transformation. Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, emphasized that AI is not just a technological trend but a core company strategy. With a vision of transitioning from cloud-native to AI-native, Huawei Cloud focuses on two key pillars: “AI for Cloud” – embedding AI across all services to enhance performance, and “Cloud for AI” – providing robust platforms, tools, and professional services to accelerate AI development.
In 2024, Huawei Cloud recorded over 50% growth outside of China, becoming the trusted partner for more than 140 telecom carriers and 500 financial institutions seeking digital and intelligent upgrades. Jacqueline Shi reaffirmed Huawei Cloud’s commitment to continuously enhancing its services to meet evolving industry needs and support enterprises in accelerating their intelligent journeys.
Huawei Cloud’s innovative solutions are tailored to multiple sectors. For telecom carriers, Huawei Cloud offers advanced hybrid cloud solutions to unify IT infrastructure, expand application ecosystems, and simplify cloud operations. Governments benefit from smart governance tools like the Huawei Cloud Pangu government model, while financial institutions leverage Digital Core solutions to modernize applications and implement intelligent customer services.
In the automotive industry, Huawei Cloud supports autonomous driving and smart manufacturing. For retail, the company offers smart store solutions with real-time data insights and digital shop assistants. Media and entertainment companies utilize Huawei Cloud’s intelligent interaction tools, including Cloud Live, MetaStudio, and Cloud Media Edge, to enhance user engagement.
Bruno Zhang, CTO of Huawei Cloud, highlighted that cloud-native technology is the foundation for the AI-native era. Huawei Cloud is advancing its AI infrastructure with services like CloudMatrix and AI Cloud Service, as well as AI-native solutions in databases, knowledge lakes, and development pipelines. Its Pangu models are now widely adopted across more than 30 industries, covering over 400 real-world use cases such as manufacturing, mining, drug discovery, autonomous driving, and railway operations.
Showcased at MWC 2025, Huawei Cloud’s latest global services aim to accelerate the transition to AI-native infrastructure. Key offerings include the CloudDC Solution for streamlined data center-to-cloud operations, Enterprise IT Cloud Migration Solution with over 240 cloud services, and advanced Backup & Disaster Recovery Continuity Center Solution for multi-layered business protection.
Security remains a top priority with Huawei Cloud introducing its Large Model Security Solution and Multilayer Ransomware Protection Solution, safeguarding businesses from cyber threats while ensuring compliance and operational resilience.
Huawei Cloud’s database innovations, including GaussDB and TaurusDB, support scalable, high-performance applications with AI-powered fault management and seamless migration capabilities. Its AI Cloud Service provides efficient foundation model training compatible with over 100 mainstream models, while Cloud Search Service (CSS) and KooSearch deliver high-speed search and knowledge management for enterprises.
Expanding the possibilities of cloud-enabled devices, Huawei Cloud’s Cloud Device solutions, including KooPhone, Cloud Gaming, and Cloud PC, eliminate hardware limitations and unlock new user experiences. Meanwhile, KooVehicle enhances autonomous operations in complex environments, improving safety and efficiency.
Huawei Cloud’s impact is already evident through success stories from global partners. TravelgateX, a leading travel platform, achieved a 20% reduction in costs and 35% improvement in performance by adopting Huawei’s cloud-native technologies. Telkom Indonesia and Huawei Cloud have signed a strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia, while Turkish e-commerce giant Hepsiburada reported a 50x increase in platform throughput and 95% faster service response after migrating to Huawei Cloud.
At the summit, Huawei Cloud and its partners also launched over 20 joint industry solutions spanning finance, automotive, retail, media, and public services, aiming to accelerate digital transformation across these sectors.
The event concluded with a Cloud Native Elite Club (CNEC) roundtable, where industry leaders explored strategies for maximizing data value and building differentiated AI capabilities to drive the next wave of intelligent transformation.
