At MWC 2025, during the Huawei Cloud Carrier Forum, Huawei introduced six Huawei Cloud Stack-based scenario-specific solutions designed to help carriers worldwide enhance operational efficiency and unlock new revenue streams through cloud innovation. The event, held from March 3 to March 6 in Barcelona, Spain, also saw the launch of the Telco2Techco Cloud Leap Program, aimed at assisting carriers in transforming from traditional telecommunications companies (telcos) to technology companies (techcos).
Shang Haifeng, President of Huawei Cloud Stack Business Department, highlighted that this transformation goes beyond the adoption of new technologies; it redefines the role of carriers in a digital-first world. He stated, “At Huawei Cloud, we are proud to partner with global carriers on their journey to becoming techcos.”
Carriers’ transformation often begins with an all-cloud approach to boost operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences. Huawei Cloud Stack offers a reliable foundation for this shift. Leap to Cloud to Improve Efficiency:
· FinTech: A secure, high-performance solution for Mobile Money that enhances user experience while ensuring compliance with financial services regulations.
· Marketing Big Data: A cloud-native platform with 200 built-in data models, ensuring 99.999% availability for improved customer acquisition and retention.
· AICC (Artificial Intelligence Contact Center): A solid, centrally managed cloud foundation for 24/7 customer service capabilities, including digital ambassadors, AI scheduling, and voice analytics.
Spark Innovation with Out-of-the-Box Solutions:
· Smart Government: A unified cloud operations platform designed to improve public services and modernize city governance, including product listing, billing, and customer management.
· Smart Education: A high-performance platform supporting remote classrooms, AI-generated live captions, and multi-language knowledge graphs for enhanced education experiences.
· Cloud Phone: Virtual phones with pre-installed apps, serving as data backups for users and helping carriers drive 4G conversion.
Huawei, in collaboration with Orange, Zain Kuwait, iSoftStone, and ULearning, also launched the Telco2Techco Cloud Leap Program, offering support in project execution, marketing, training, and enablement to help carriers transition to techcos. The program focuses on 10+ innovative service scenarios to accelerate this transformation.
MWC Barcelona 2025, taking place in the Fira Gran Via Hall 1, is a key event for Huawei, where they will showcase their latest products and solutions.
