Huawei has announced the availability of the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 in the UAE, marking a new milestone in audio innovation. The latest flagship earbuds are now available for purchase through Huawei’s official online store and leading retail outlets across the UAE, priced at AED 749.

The new earbuds introduce the world’s first dual-engine Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system. This approach builds on the concept of dual drivers used in premium earphones, but extends it to noise cancellation for improved precision and adaptability. As a result, users can experience enhanced performance across real-world environments.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 features an industry-first dual-engine AI noise-cancelling system with two independent drivers. The ultra-linear dual-magnet unit reduces low-frequency noise such as traffic and subway rumble below 300Hz. In addition, the ultra-thin micro planar diaphragm unit targets mid to high-frequency sounds, including voices and background chatter between 1kHz and 8kHz.

Moreover, the system identifies noise type and source, then controls both units to emit targeted reverse waves across different frequency ranges. This combined precision improves noise cancellation performance by up to 220% compared to the previous generation, delivering an average reduction of up to 29dB across the full frequency range.

In terms of intelligent features, the FreeBuds Pro 5 integrates Awareness Mode, Conversation Awareness, and Adaptive Volume. Awareness Mode enhances ambient sounds using AI, allowing users to stay aware of surroundings while listening to audio. For example, users can hear announcements in airports or remain alert to traffic while commuting.

Conversation Awareness automatically lowers media volume when speech is detected and switches to Awareness Mode. Once the conversation ends, ANC resumes and volume returns to its previous level after seven seconds. Meanwhile, Adaptive Volume adjusts playback based on environmental noise, increasing volume in loud settings and reducing it in quieter spaces for a balanced listening experience.

For calls, the earbuds combine advanced hardware with intelligent processing to improve voice clarity. Three high-precision microphones detect ambient noise, while a bone-conduction microphone captures vocal vibrations. This enables clearer voice isolation even in noisy environments such as busy streets or windy conditions.
