Intel has announced the appointment of Eng. Taha Khalifa as the General Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. With over 25 years of extensive experience in the ICT industry, Taha brings a wealth of expertise, having held senior roles in engineering, strategic planning, sales, and management across the US and EMEA regions.
In his most recent role as the Client Computing Group Sales Director for Intel in EMEA, Taha successfully spearheaded the execution of Intel’s client strategy and drove growth in the commercial segment. He also has a solid track record in channel, sales, and marketing leadership roles within the Middle East.
Now taking on a broader role, Taha will oversee Intel’s operations in a region recognized for its rapid digital transformation and economic growth potential. He will lead the execution of Intel’s strategy across a diverse network of customers, partners, OEMs, and distributors, while collaborating with governments and industry leaders to strengthen ICT capabilities and advance corporate social responsibility initiatives in the MEA region.
Taha’s extensive background and leadership in the region make him well-equipped to drive Intel’s growth strategy and reinforce its technology leadership in this dynamic market.
Taha Khalifa holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, as well as an MBA from Arizona State University, USA.
