The winners of the Intersec Awards 2026 were announced during a gala dinner held at the Conrad Dubai, recognising organisations, products and individuals across the global fire, safety and security sectors. As part of Intersec 2026, the awards highlighted technological innovation, operational excellence and strategic impact shaping the future of the industry.

Now in their fifth edition, the Intersec Awards honour excellence across 17 categories spanning fire and safety, security, and industry achievement. The winners were selected following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an independent panel of 23 international judges. The 2026 results reflected advancements in innovation, governance and digital resilience across the sector.

Stand-out recognitions were revealed during the ceremony. Khalid Mubarak of Dubai Municipality received the H.H Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Emirati Rising Star Award for contributions to safety and security standards in the UAE. Albadr Jannah of Saudi Aramco was named Industry Leader of the Year for sustained industry impact and commitment to advancing security, safety and resilience at regional and global levels.

In addition, the Women Trailblazers in Security, Fire Safety and HSE award was presented to Jazyah Aldossary of Saudi Aramco, recognising her role in advancing inclusion, safety practices and professional excellence.

Other Industry Awards were also announced. Moataz Allami from Humain received the CISO of the Year award for cybersecurity strategy, governance and organisational resilience. WSP was recognised with the Best HSE Team award for safety culture and performance across high-risk projects. Meanwhile, WE ONE Security was awarded Best Security Team for operational delivery and service reliability.

Furthermore, WSP was acknowledged in the Strategy in Consultancy category for advisory services supporting fire safety, security and resilience planning through evidence-based approaches.

In the Fire & Safety Awards, judges recognised innovation in early detection and intelligent response. Kentec Electronics received Best Active Fire Safety Product for the K Detect Ion Detector, while Hochiki Middle East was honoured for its ACD Multi Sensor with CO, designed to improve detection accuracy and reduce false alarms.

The Best Passive Fire Safety Product award was presented to CI Global for CI Safe, which strengthens passive fire protection through compliant design. Axis Communications was named Best Safety Protection Solution for the AXIS D6210 Air Quality Sensor, which monitors indoor air quality to support safer environments.

The Best Fire Safety Project – MEA award was won by WSP Middle East for One Za’abeel – Skyward Excellence in Design and Construction, a project that set benchmarks in integrated fire engineering and regulatory compliance.

In the Impact Makers category, Saudi Aramco was recognised for From Code to Clarity to Compliance, an initiative translating regulatory frameworks into enterprise-wide safety culture and compliance practices.

The Incident Resolution Spotlight award was awarded to the General Command of Dubai Civil Defence for its Drone Firefighting Unit, which enhances emergency response through improved situational awareness and firefighter safety.

Security-focused awards were also reported during the evening:

  • Dubai Police received Best Security Project – MEA for its Lost Passport Certificate (Blockchain) initiative
  • Axis Communications was recognised for the AXIS D4200 VE Network Strobe Speaker in Best Commercial Security Solution
  • Microavia won Best Perimeter Security Solution for its Drone in a Box Surveillance Solution

Additionally, the Best Homeland Security Solution category recognised SWS Inntech Sdn. Bhd. for Automated Armory Solutions and ONES Technology for BioAffix Gate Vision Mobile, both strengthening national and infrastructure security.

Rounding out the awards, Resemble AI was honoured with Best Cybersecurity Solution for Resemble Detect – Securing Truth in the Age of AI, addressing threats linked to synthetic media and AI-driven misinformation.

Commenting on the awards, Dishan Isaac, Show Director of Intersec at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said the Intersec Awards have become a benchmark for excellence across the fire, safety and security ecosystem. He noted that the Intersec 2026 winners demonstrated how technology, strategy and people combine to deliver real-world impact across life safety, infrastructure protection, cyber resilience and emergency response.
