Kodak Alaris has unveiled significant upgrades to its renowned document scanner series, including the KODAK S2085f, S3000 Series, and S3000 Max Series. These enhanced models are designed to address the evolving needs of businesses and ensure compliance with FADGI (Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative) standards for government records.

The upgraded scanners deliver superior speed, precision, and versatility, making them ideal for streamlining workflow automation in various business settings. Building on Kodak Alaris’ legacy of industry-leading image quality, these models introduce multiple unique image processing modes, setting them apart in the market.

Users can easily switch between imaging modes to optimize scanning operations based on their specific requirements. Host image processing accelerates scanning by utilizing the attached PC’s resources, while onboard image processing reduces the load on the PC, freeing up resources for other tasks. Host image processing is particularly beneficial in high-volume production environments where speed is critical.

The new models also support FADGI-compliant scanning out of the box, with a simple switch to enable FADGI processing mode when necessary.
