LEAP 2025 to Showcase Next-Gen Tech at Inaugural Tech Arena

LEAP 2025, Saudi Arabia’s award-winning global technology event, is set to welcome over 170,000 visitors as global entrepreneurs and startups gather in Riyadh to showcase next-gen innovations. Running from February 9-12 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre in Malham, the fourth edition of LEAP will feature groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, healthcare technologies, mixed reality, and fashion tech, all under the theme “The Future of Tech.”

A major highlight of LEAP 2025 is the launch of the Tech Arena, an immersive platform designed to ignite curiosity and foster collaboration. This dynamic ‘live TV’ experience will feature interactive showcases from global tech leaders including Aramco, L’Oréal, Adobe, Ericsson, Alwaleed Philanthropies, XAR Labs, Devoteam, and Engine VR. Visitors will witness futuristic innovations, from AI-powered healthcare solutions and brain-computer interfaces to groundbreaking fashion technology.

BBC Click icons Lara Lewington and Spencer Kelly will host live sessions, bringing expert insights into the latest tech trends. Among the standout exhibits is Anouk Wipprecht’s Tech Couture collection, which blends robotics and fashion to create dynamic, life-like clothing. Adobe will present ‘Project Primrose,’ a revolutionary digital dress that allows for instant textile transformations, redefining the future of wearable technology.

The Tech Arena will also showcase AI-driven advancements in medical technology. Aramco-backed Terra Drone’s AI-powered long-range medical delivery system will demonstrate how drones can transport critical medical supplies to remote areas, transforming healthcare accessibility. Additionally, Aramco will debut SARA (Saudi Aramco Robotics Assistant), an AI-trained assistant designed to enhance decision-making and provide intuitive, personalized interactions.

Virtual reality will take center stage as Engine VR presents its Golden Gloves platform, offering an immersive gamified boxing experience for fitness enthusiasts, professional athletes, and entertainment seekers. UFC fighter Andrew Sanchez will perform live demonstrations, and attendees will have the opportunity to experience the platform firsthand.

Tech Arena will also feature AI-powered sustainability solutions. Alwaleed Philanthropies will present Atlai, an AI-driven tool that monitors global deforestation and generates detailed reports for conservation efforts. XPANCEO will introduce smart contact lenses with built-in computing power, ushering in a new era of wearable technology that seamlessly integrates data with the human experience.

According to Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President of Tahaluf, the Tech Arena will provide global startups and innovators with an unprecedented platform to gain exposure, connect with investors, and receive valuable industry feedback. With more than 170,000 attendees anticipated, exhibitors will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse audience of tech professionals, enthusiasts, and decision-makers.
