The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and Lenovo have announced a strategic partnership. Lenovo’s Legion brand will serve as the Official PC and Gaming Hardware Partner of the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC).

Lenovo Legion, known for its performance-driven gaming ecosystem, will support EWC athletes with top-tier devices. The company aims to deliver high-level performance across all stages of the tournament.

From training rooms to tournament arenas, Lenovo Legion Towers, laptops, and peripherals will be provided. These devices are built specifically for elite esports play.

Models like the Legion Tower 7i and Legion Tower 5i will feature prominently. These towers offer:

  • Advanced thermal systems and powerful silicon
  • High refresh-rate displays and low-latency input devices

The Legion Tower 7i includes an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 GPU and liquid cooling. Meanwhile, the Legion Tower 5i features the RTX 5070 Ti GPU and intelligent cooling for consistent gameplay.

Additionally, the Legion Pro 7i laptops will be showcased for attendees. These laptops feature up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs. They also offer a 16” PureSight OLED display and Vapor thermal systems, delivering up to 250W TDP.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at EWCF, revealed that the goal is to set a new global standard in esports. He said Lenovo’s technology will offer athletes speed, efficiency, and reliability.

Volker Düring, VP of Lenovo’s PC Gaming Business, stated the partnership empowers gamers to reach their goals. He emphasized the Esports World Cup as the ultimate stage for elite competition.

As part of the agreement, Lenovo Legion branding will appear across:

  • Global broadcasts and digital content
  • On-site festival zones with playable devices for attendees

The collaboration will also include exclusive digital activations and behind-the-scenes content on Legion’s social channels.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 7 to August 24. It will host 25 tournaments across 24 games and feature 2,000 elite players and 200 clubs from over 100 countries.

The event will offer a $70 million prize pool, the largest in esports history. Fans can expect high-stakes competitions, anime cafes, retro arcades, cosplay, and live music, drawing millions of viewers online and on-site.
