Oracle announced today that the Al-Madinah Development Authority (MDA) has successfully implemented the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, marking a significant step in the Authority’s digital transformation. The suite includes Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing (SCM), and Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). Additionally, a custom application for managing supplier payments was developed as part of the project.
This achievement is a crucial part of MDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, increase productivity, and adopt cutting-edge digital technologies. The project was executed in collaboration with technical partners and industry experts to ensure a seamless implementation process.
As part of this initiative, MDA successfully migrated its Oracle Fusion Applications from an international location to the Oracle Cloud Jeddah Region. This strategic move not only improved data security but also boosted system performance, enabling the Authority to fully maximize the capabilities of Oracle Fusion Applications to optimize business processes.
Reham AlMusa, Vice President – Business Applications, Public Sector, and Managing Director of Oracle Saudi Arabia, stated, “Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite enables organizations to break down silos, standardize processes, and manage financial, supply chain, and HR data on a single integrated cloud platform. With this deployment, MDA has established a modern, agile cloud application platform that will accelerate key initiatives.”
This milestone demonstrates MDA’s commitment to advancing its digital infrastructure and supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision for a technologically advanced future.
