Oracle to Train 350,000 in Middle East for Cloud and AI Jobs

Oracle has announced an ambitious initiative to train and certify 350,000 professionals across key Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Morocco, and Jordan. This program aims to address the surging demand for Oracle Cloud services in the region by equipping individuals with expertise in the most in-demand technologies.

The training programs will cover a wide array of technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle AI services, OCI Generative AI, Low Code, Oracle APEX, DevOps, Cloud Data Management, and Security & Cloud Applications Business Process.

Oracle’s latest skills development initiative in the Middle East will help create a readily available local pool of Oracle-certified professionals that will play a key role in the success of the Middle East’s AI economy, which is expected to reach $320 billion by 2030.”

The multi-year initiative will be delivered in collaboration with key public sector partners and will leverage Oracle MyLearn, a comprehensive digital training platform from Oracle University used by millions worldwide. Participants will receive foundational training in cloud technologies, with pathways to professional-level certifications in fields such as DevOps, AI, machine learning, applications business processes, and data science. Additionally, the program will provide customized training to align with individual learning levels and career aspirations.

This effort aligns with Oracle’s commitment to fostering digital transformation and supporting the Middle East’s rapidly growing AI and cloud economy.
