Meta subscription offerings are expanding globally as the company rolls out new consumer plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. At the same time, Meta is testing additional subscription services for creators, businesses, and users of its AI products.

The new plans, branded as Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, provide access to additional features within each app. These include profile customization options, super reactions, story insights, and other tools designed to enhance the user experience.

According to Naomi Gleit, Head of Product at Meta, the company plans to introduce more features to these subscription offerings in the future.

Meanwhile, Meta is also beginning tests of new subscription plans aimed at professional users. These include offerings for creators and businesses, as well as AI-focused plans available to all users. The company said these services will fall under a new brand called Meta One, which will serve as the central hub for its growing Meta subscription portfolio.

The Plus plans are tailored to the specific functions of each platform. Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus focus on social expression and engagement features. In contrast, WhatsApp Plus emphasizes personalization and messaging enhancements.

However, Meta clarified that the new Meta subscription plans do not replace Meta Verified. The existing service remains focused on account verification, protection against impersonation, and access to enhanced customer support.

As Meta continues to expand its paid services strategy, the company is positioning Meta One as the future home for its Meta subscription offerings across consumer, business, creator, and AI-focused experiences.
