NTT DATA, announced the launch of its global business unit for Microsoft Cloud. The move aims to meet rising demand for secure, AI-driven enterprise cloud transformation.

The new unit combines NTT DATA’s expertise in Microsoft Cloud, security and AI solutions to accelerate modernization, scale Agentic AI, and address sovereignty and compliance needs.

Charlie Li, Head of Cloud and Security Services at NTT DATA, Inc., revealed that the expanded collaboration with Microsoft is designed to help clients tackle complex business challenges with speed, scale and trust. He added that the initiative will solve modern problems using advanced cloud and AI technologies, from modernizing operations to enhancing digital experiences.

Murray Campbell, Vice President Cloud and Security for NTT DATA in the Middle East and Africa, reported that organizations in the region are increasingly turning to AI and cloud to improve efficiency, customer experience, and competitiveness. With Microsoft Cloud and Agentic AI, the company aims to enable scalable and sustainable transformation.

The business unit has a presence in over 50 countries and employs Microsoft-certified specialists holding 24,000 certifications. NTT DATA will align sales, pre-sales and delivery teams with Microsoft to design, build, secure, migrate and implement solutions on Microsoft Cloud for measurable business impact.

Key focus areas for Middle East and Africa include:
• Agentic AI at scale using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Azure AI Foundry for real-time communications and orchestration.
• Modern cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure to enhance agility and reduce complexity.
• Developer acceleration with over 500 industry accelerators on NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud platform.
• Enhanced workplace collaboration via Microsoft 365 and customer engagement through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center.
• Sovereign Cloud adoption under Microsoft AI Cloud partner program.

NTT DATA’s recently launched Agentic AI Services for Hyperscaler AI Technologies, built on Azure and Azure AI Foundry, have generated nearly 100 enterprise client opportunities in 90 days, including Newell Brands.

The company is also leveraging Azure AI Agent Service to support multi-agent models and orchestrate workflows across platforms. With 27 Advanced Specializations, including Security, Data & AI for Azure, and AI Business Solutions, NTT DATA aims to accelerate big data migration, scale AI and ML workloads, and implement cost-effective infrastructures.
