Nutanix Hosts .NEXT Riyadh, Expands in Saudi Arabia

Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a global hybrid multicloud computing company, successfully hosted its annual .NEXT event in Riyadh at the Crowne Plaza RDC, marking a key milestone in Saudi Arabia. Held in late January, the event celebrated Nutanix’s 15th anniversary and highlighted its growing presence in the region. With over 600 attendees, including partners and end-users, the event focused on the latest advancements in cloud computing, AI, and digital transformation. Nutanix showcased hands-on demonstrations, live presentations, and interactive workshops under the theme of AI & Cloud Innovation, emphasizing how businesses can build and run applications seamlessly using the power of the cloud.

The event also highlighted Nutanix’s strong partnerships with global technology leaders such as Lenovo, HPE, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Red Hat, and Veeam. A Partner Innovation Council was conducted to gather insights from key partners in the region and discuss enhancements to the Nutanix Elevate Partner Program. Attendees explored cutting-edge topics such as modern digital business transformation, cloud-native applications with the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, the role of hybrid cloud in enabling digital transformation, and the impact of AI in soccer, with a special guest appearance by Hervé Renard, Head Coach of the Saudi National Team, to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s FIFA World Cup 2034 bid.

Nutanix reinforced its commitment to Saudi Arabia with several key initiatives, including a new three-story office space in Riyadh, a 70% workforce expansion over the last three years, and the designation of Riyadh as its regional headquarters for the Middle East and North Africa. The company has also formed a strategic partnership with Saudi Digital to accelerate cloud adoption, supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. To invest in local talent, Nutanix continues to empower Saudi graduates through specialized programs, co-ops, and a user group platform that has already engaged over 1,500 professionals. With over 150 workshops conducted across the country, Nutanix is equipping Saudi youth with essential technology skills and is in the planning phase of a major educational initiative with a leading academic institution to train and certify more than 100 Saudi professionals on the Nutanix cloud platform.
