PUBG MOBILE has announced the release of its Version 3.9 Update, available until September 2nd. The update introduces several new features and gameplay enhancements. Players can explore a TRANSFORMERS-themed mode, engage in the revamped Metro Royale Zombie Uprising, and participate in the new Ranked Arena competitive event.

The TRANSFORMERS mode brings the iconic franchise to the battlegrounds. Players can summon Optimus Prime or Megatron using the Cybertron Beacon. They can also call in Cybertron Crates filled with supplies and Energon. Each robot converts between vehicle and robot forms and has unique abilities. Energon can be collected to upgrade robots and unlock powerful ultimate skills like Optimus Prime’s Charge Slam or Megatron’s Triple Fusion Blast. When the rivals face off, a special arena appears in Erangel for an epic duel. Players can revive Optimus Prime if he is knocked down before the duel starts. At the end of matches, TRANSFORMERS robots perform exit animations and drop unique rewards. Outside matches, players can choose a side Team Optimus Prime or Team Megatron and complete missions to earn exclusive rewards. Additional TRANSFORMERS-themed vehicles, items, and features will be released on July 18th.

The update also introduces Neon Outpost, a cyberpunk-themed area with neon lights. It is available on Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok maps. Neon Outpost includes a boxing ring for intense battles, a black market with futuristic shops, and an energy hub where players ride robots. The Astro Den melee arena features close-combat battles with instant respawns. Solo players can fight bots in the Outskirts for extra prizes.

Metro Royale’s Zombie Uprising mode has been upgraded with a new tiered monster system and player progression. Players can collect energy orbs, battle bosses, and hatch powerful creatures. New items include elite supply crates, a Portable Experiment Server, a Battleground Merchant, and incubation air drops. A rare gold melee weapon can be obtained by defeating zombies or bosses. This weapon carries over between seasons and is never lost.

The update adds a 3D Hub, a new interactive social space by the seaside. It features mini-games, emotes such as hand-holding and piggyback rides, and interactive zones. The Popularity Battle Event now includes head-to-head and team matchups. Players can climb ranks, steal points, and unlock rewards.

Ranked Arena, a limited-time competitive event, runs from July 24 to September 2. Players can progress through 28 skill tiers, from Bronze to Ace rank. Ranked matches include Team Deathmatch, Warehouse Team Deathmatch, Hangar Assault, The Ruins, and Domination Town. Exclusive rewards and limited-time titles are available.

A new weapon, the Paint Gun, debuts in the World Of Wonder mode. It allows players to inflict damage and splash color on enemies. The Ice Dragon Boss also arrives with dynamic attack patterns.

Classic Mode gains the ASM Abakan rifle with multiple firing modes. New features include plane cabin interactions before matches and updated motorcycle and bicycle mechanics. Sniper rifles receive barrel extenders, and attachments have been rebalanced. The DSR sniper is now available in air drops.

Home Mode adds Mancala, a new game players can buy with Home Coins. It supports solo and friend play. Special missions offer additional rewards. Arcadia Haven-themed items let players design futuristic homes. The Home Parking Lot lets players compete for premium parking spots at friends’ homes.

Version 3.9 also begins Cycle 9 Season 25. It introduces legendary items, season rewards, and Event Shop content. Both Classic and Casual Seasons have new tier rewards and progression adjustments. Hardcore Ultimate Royale returns with Sanhok for faster matches.

PUBG MOBILE has revealed that Version 3.9 offers a rich mix of content, enhancing gameplay, competition, and social interaction for players worldwide.
