Qlik®, a global company in data integration, analytics, and AI, has acquired the Qloud Cover Migration technology from Stretch Qonnect. Stretch Qonnect is a long-time Qlik Elite Solution Provider. The tool will now be branded as the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool.
This automated solution helps users move from QlikView®, Qlik Sense®, and NPrinting® to Qlik Cloud®. Migration has long been a barrier to cloud adoption. The tool removes complexity and enables faster cloud transitions.
Qlik will offer this tool for free. It will be available directly to customers or through Qlik-certified partners.
The Qlik Analytics Migration Tool gives users access to a proven, enterprise-grade migration engine. It is built specifically for the Qlik ecosystem. While Qlik Cloud delivers more agility and AI features, many still struggle with the initial shift. This tool changes that by making migration faster, structured, and scalable.
Roberto Sigona, Chief Operating Officer at Qlik, said the goal is to eliminate migration as a roadblock. “We’re not just making it easier to move to the cloud—we’re making it practical, responsible, and immediate,” he said.
The tool supports full automation across both QlikView and Qlik Sense. It is designed for complex and large-scale deployments. Key benefits include:
It also allows flexible migration paths. Users can choose phased or full cutovers. The tool supports both self-service teams and certified partners. It also streamlines dashboard migration by keeping the visual layout consistent.
Qlik is also offering a free Qlik Cloud tenant for customers without one. It is available until their next renewal. This helps teams test the platform, run proof of concepts, and start migrating.
Martin Sahlin, CEO of Stretch Qonnect, said the tool was built to solve real-world migration problems. “It’s been proven across industries. With Qlik expanding its reach, it’s ready to make a bigger impact,” he said.
The tool integrates with Qlik Cloud APIs and governance. This helps users maintain control and accuracy during migration.
Stine Thomasen, Senior Manager at Lundbeck, shared her experience. “We were able to modernize thousands of assets globally while maintaining continuity. It enabled faster insights and stronger data use,” she said.
The tool will scale through Qlik’s global partner network. Certified partners can offer lower-cost, high-quality modernization services. Internal teams can use the self-service option for guided transitions.
The Qlik Analytics Migration Tool is built to make cloud migration not only possible but practical, turning a challenge into a competitive advantage.
