Logiqal CORE, the newest addition to Secure Logiq’s line of HD surveillance storage systems, has been introduced. Users can benefit from Logiqal CORE, a software layer that was created to deliver specialized redundancy for security industry applications, in two key ways: virtualization and resilience.

“Logiqal CORE has been created to be resilient by design,” states Secure Logiq Global Sales Director, Ben Yoxall. “We believe this new tool will meet the needs of security professionals in every type of application, anywhere in the world.”

With Logiqal CORE, numerous Virtual Machines on a single server can run various operating systems, whether they are similar or dissimilar (VMs). This gets around restrictions and application features. By lowering the number of physical servers, resources, rack space, and power requirements, Logiqal CORE implementation results in lower total costs of ownership.

“We understand the challenges security professionals face in trying to ensure they can deliver the most robust solution for the best possible price,” explains Yoxall. “With Logiqal CORE, we have answered this challenge with a resilient solution that will provide users with the peace of mind that they have the ultimate solution in place if things go wrong, combined with the understanding that they are reducing the total cost of ownership of their security system. Combining Logiqal CORE and Secure Logiq’s industry-leading servers really does deliver the best of both worlds.”

Whatever VMS you choose, Secure Logiq’s Logiqal CORE provides everything from straightforward settings like like-for-like failover to complex configurations like many distant sites failing to a single site or partial failover if you don’t want full failover for your entire system. Most notably, Logiqal CORE replicates your storage function while simultaneously providing application failover. This implies that your historical archive will remain intact.
