SEF 2025 Launches AED700,000 Startup Pitch Competition

The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 has officially launched the SEF x 1Tank Startup Pitch Competition, offering entrepreneurs a chance to win grants totaling AED200,000, secure potential investor funding of up to AED500,000, and enjoy free flights with Air Arabia.

Focused on four critical sectors—EdTech, Sustainability, Creative Industries, and Tech & Industry 4.0—the competition invites startups from around the world to present innovative solutions addressing key challenges. Applicants must submit their pitch decks, company profiles, and a short video introduction by 26th January 2025 through the official SEF portal.

A panel of judges will shortlist 16 startups (4 per track) to compete live at SEF 2025, held from 1st to 2nd February. These finalists will pitch their ideas in front of influential leaders and investors, showcasing their vision and potential impact.

Organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) in partnership with 1Tank, the competition aims to empower entrepreneurs with funding, resources, and global exposure. Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, emphasized the initiative’s role in fostering innovation and positioning Sharjah as a hub for entrepreneurship.
