His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on decision intelligence solutions during a meeting of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) in Abu Dhabi. He is Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The briefing covered the latest capabilities of TACTICAᴬᴵ. The company specialises in agentic AI solutions that support decision-making, enhance readiness and strengthen foresight across vital sectors.

The meeting reflects His Highness’s commitment to advancing the UAE’s technological capabilities. It also supports the country’s strategic priorities and helps organisations respond swiftly to change. In addition, it aligns with the UAE’s efforts to consolidate its position as a global centre for AI development and turn its potential into practical solutions that enhance security and support development.

Sheikh Hamdan affirmed that the UAE continues to build an advanced AI framework. This framework relies on investment in research, innovation and capability development. It also aligns these capabilities with the needs of strategic sectors. He noted that progress in this field requires moving beyond analysing events towards anticipating developments.

“The UAE believes that AI is not just a technology of the future, but a strategic capability that enhances our preparedness today while creating future opportunities,” he said.

He added: “The next phase of AI will go beyond providing information to building systems capable of understanding reality, anticipating possibilities and supporting timely decision-making.”

During the meeting, he reviewed solutions developed by TACTICAᴬᴵ using deep-tech from the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). The solutions integrate and analyse data from multiple sources. As a result, they create a comprehensive operational picture that is updated in real time. Decision makers can then gain a deeper understanding of situations, anticipate potential developments and identify appropriate responses in a timely manner.

The presentation also covered applications across defence, security, crisis management and urban operations. It highlighted their role in strengthening coordination and improving response efficiency. The solutions turn incoming data into actionable insights and recommendations. This supports operational and strategic decisions, particularly in fast-changing environments where time is limited.

Several senior officials also attended the meeting:
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications
His Excellency Faisal Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs and Secretary General of ATRC
His Excellency Shahab Abu Shahab, Director General of ATRC
His Excellency Major General Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli, Director of the Office of the Minister of Defence
