His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, announced major changes in the UAE government through a tweet. One of the key announcements focused on the future role of artificial intelligence in governance.

Sheikh Mohammed revealed that the National Artificial Intelligence System will become a consultative member of the UAE Cabinet and the Ministerial Council for Development. This role will extend to all boards of federal authorities and government-owned companies.

Starting from January 2026, the AI system will actively support decision-making processes. It will conduct real-time analysis of decisions, offer technical advice, and enhance the efficiency of government policies across all sectors.
