Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH has unveiled a new metallic blue version of its portable hard drive, expanding the Canvio Flex range with a fresh design option.

The new colour joins the existing warm silver model. It will be available exclusively across EMEA markets.

In addition, the Canvio Flex portable hard drive comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. It is designed to support easy storage across multiple devices. The drive is pre-formatted with exFAT. Therefore, it works seamlessly with Windows PCs and Macs. It is also compatible with supported Android and iOS tablets and smartphones without requiring reformatting.

Moreover, the device includes both USB Type-C and USB Type-A cables in the box. This allows users to connect and transfer files quickly. Users can back up photos, videos, documents, and creative projects with ease.

According to Larry Martinez-Palomo, Vice President of the Storage Products Division at Toshiba Electronics Europe, the Canvio Flex has seen strong demand since its launch. He added that the new metallic blue finish offers more choice, especially for younger users seeking stylish storage solutions.

Overall, the company aims to meet growing demand for flexible and convenient storage. The new design adds a modern touch to the portable hard drive.
