The UAE’s cybersecurity market is set to surge from US$620 million in 2024 to an estimated US$1.29 billion by 2030. Analysts report this growth is driven by AI security analytics, Zero Trust architecture, and strong government initiatives.

According to ResearchAndMarkets, the sector’s expansion is fueled by digital transformation, rising cyber threats, and government support for digital infrastructure. Key initiatives include the UAE National Cybersecurity Strategy and the Cybersecurity Council, which are seen as major growth catalysts. The market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.8% until 2030.

As part of the 27th edition of Intersec, taking place from 12–14 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the InCyber Briefing will provide critical insights for CISOs, cybersecurity strategists, and digital risk leaders. The briefing will focus on AI governance, post-quantum readiness, supply chain resilience, and cyber risk reporting.

A keynote session by Luqman Kondeth, Director of Cybersecurity at New York University Abu Dhabi, titled “The Oracle in the System: A Village Parable for Governing AI,” will highlight practical lessons in trust, oversight, and responsible AI innovation. Kondeth emphasized that AI governance must be continuous, integrated, and human-centred, supporting ongoing monitoring and risk assessments rather than periodic reviews.

Additionally, consulting firm Kearney will host a closed-door roundtable, “Defending the Digital Backbone: Securing National Infrastructure in the Era of AI and Hybrid Threats.” Insights from this session will be compiled into a white paper exploring intelligence-driven resilience and proactive cybersecurity measures.

Dishan Isaac, Show Director of Intersec at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, noted that AI, automation, and digitization are reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. The InCyber Briefing equips decision-makers with practical tools, frameworks, and strategies to govern AI effectively while safeguarding organizations against emerging threats.
