The meeting took place at Sheikh Maktoum’s office during the Singaporean Prime Minister’s official visit to the UAE. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in financial services, logistics, technology and the digital economy.

Sheikh Maktoum welcomed Prime Minister Wong and highlighted the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to developing strategic partnerships through constructive cooperation. He also emphasised the importance of exploring opportunities arising from changes in the global economy to support sustainable development, investment and trade.

The discussions highlighted the complementary strengths of Dubai and Singapore as international centres for trade, finance and business. Both sides explored ways to build on their expertise and capabilities to strengthen economic relations and create further opportunities for cooperation.
