WSO2, an enterprise digital infrastructure technology company, has announced the launch of the WSO2 Ambassador Program. This global initiative recognizes and supports developers, architects, and technical leaders who actively contribute to the WSO2 open-source ecosystem.

The program highlights the role of individuals who share knowledge, inspire innovation, and help expand the global WSO2 community. It welcomes professionals with experience using WSO2 technologies and a passion for contributing through code, content, or events.

Developers and architects are central to today’s digital era. Developers use WSO2 platforms like API management, integration, identity and access management, and Choreo. But they also go beyond usage—they improve the tools, offer feedback, and create impactful solutions. Architects design the secure, scalable frameworks that support these innovations. WSO2 acknowledges both as critical to driving growth and innovation.

Isabelle Mauny, Chief Developer Advocate at WSO2, said, “Developers are the driving force behind innovation. They shape our products. Architects ensure these solutions align with business goals. The WSO2 Ambassador Program honors their contributions and supports their growth.”

The program reflects WSO2’s deep commitment to open source—not just through code, but through people. It offers mentorship and visibility to help contributors grow in their careers and communities.

Ambassadors receive:

  • Access to skill-building in leadership, advocacy, and public speaking
  • Sponsorship for local events, meetups, and conferences
  • Recognition across WSO2’s digital and media platforms
  • Invitations to exclusive events and tools
  • Opportunities to work directly with WSO2 product teams

The WSO2 Ambassador Program is open to individuals with hands-on experience using WSO2 technologies. Participation is flexible, allowing ambassadors to contribute at their own pace.

“Being a WSO2 Ambassador is not just about a title,” Mauny explained. “It’s about making a difference—writing tutorials, mentoring others, answering questions, and supporting the next generation of technologists. We aim to amplify these efforts and connect them with peers worldwide.”
