Yellow Door Energy, a sustainable energy partner in the Middle East and Africa, announced its 10th anniversary milestone. The company revealed it has generated 1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy through its solar projects. This is enough to power 273 million smartphones for a year while reducing 396,000 metric tons of carbon emissions.

Over the past decade, Yellow Door Energy built a 400 MWp solar portfolio across seven countries, which is set to grow to 500 MWp by 2025. The company reported five million person-hours worked in construction and operation without a recordable incident, reflecting its rigorous QHSSE practices.

Jeremy Crane, Group CEO of Yellow Door Energy, said, “Our success is not just a company milestone; it reflects businesses in the Middle East and Africa committing to Net Zero emissions.” He emphasized the rapid growth of clean energy and the urgency of addressing climate change.

In the first half of 2025, Yellow Door Energy signed four solar leases in Saudi Arabia and began a major solar project with GWC in Qatar. It also commissioned nine solar power projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, increasing its operational portfolio to 155 MWp.

The company received two Solarabic UAE Awards, including Flagship Solar Project of the Year for the Majid Al Futtaim Mosque and Tilal Al Ghaf projects, and Distinguished Industry Contributor for Jeremy Crane.

Yellow Door Energy continues to strengthen its position as a top distributed solar company. Its solar leases and PPAs allow businesses to transition to solar power and reduce electricity costs without upfront capital expenditure.

With the UAE targeting nearly 20 GW of clean energy capacity by 2030 and investing up to $55 billion in renewable infrastructure, Yellow Door Energy is well-positioned to support this sustainable transformation.
