Infor, the industry cloud company, has announced that Geminite Cement Industries LLC has chosen Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise, a powerful cloud-based, industry-focused enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
Geminite, a subsidiary of the Gemini Group, is constructing the UAE‘s first fiber cement board manufacturing factory. The firm chose Infor CloudSuite to enable its digital route in order to maximise delivery in the face of rising demand for cement boards throughout the area. According to Mordor Intelligence, the UAE construction market is anticipated to be worth US $133.53 billion by 2026.
Geminite Cement Industries, based in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD), is Gemini Building Materials’ manufacturing branch (GBM). With a portfolio of notable worldwide brands like as Knauf, Gyproc, and Saint-Gobain goods, the firm is one of the region’s major stockers and importers of construction materials such as gypsum plasterboards, false ceilings, drywall metals, and more. The business is nearing completion of the commissioning of its cutting-edge process-based fibre cement boards plant, which is slated to begin production within the next two to three months.

Geminite intends to automate and integrate its production control systems and plant maintenance solutions by installing the multi-tenant Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise, which runs on Infor OS powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ability of Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise to capture data from across the business will allow management and operations teams to create production costing reports, providing a 360-degree view of the business while increasing efficiency across departments through a paperless, process-based approach.
The modern manufacturing ERP solution will assist Geminite in increasing efficiency, gaining insight throughout the organisation, and providing the agility to expand capacity as needed to meet the region’s rapidly increasing demand for gypsum boards.
