Last month Sony released its latest version of the WF-1000XM4 earbuds, and since then tons of reports have been published on whether if it is more superior to the other tech brands. Although it is a pricey piece of tech, costing at about 280$(1,100 AED), it comes with significant different features than its competitors, in terms of sound quality and performance. So which wireless buds are good for you? Well, that’s for you to decide. But first, here is some features you need to know about the Sony WF-1000XM4.
Many have said that the new earbuds look like mini boxing gloves, but that’s because it is designed to have an ergonomic surface for a more stable fit. The buds come with a choice
of polyurethane ear tips for extra comfort. It can be charged using USB-C or a wireless charging platform. The surface of the bud is touch sensitive, the controls consist of many features including, controlling the volume, pause/play, skip forward or backward, and request for the voice assistant. Furthermore, it come with an IPX4 water-resistance rating, so it would survive splashes from any direction, but be careful to not drop it in a pool, or while you’re taking a bath.

Another interesting feature is that the WF-1000XM4 allows you to use “360 Reality Audio” it is as real as going to a concert or a festival, the audio has never been crisper and clearer. Interestingly, you can customize your experience by analyzing you own shape of the ear to enjoy a more high quality sound.

The new model offers 8 – 12 hours of playback, of course depending on whether noise cancellation is on or off. With the USB-C power charging, it can charge up the battery pretty quickly, making it as reliable as normal wired earphones that require no charging.
