Kwai, one of the world’s fastest-growing short-form video platforms, has received ISO/IEC 27701 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications. These international standards demonstrate that Kwai meets the certification’s highest international (data) security standards.

ISO stands for the International Organization for Standardization. The ISO/IEC 27000 family is a globally recognized standard for information security that recognizes companies that maintain information confidentiality, integrity, and availability while also adhering to legal requirements. ISO/IEC 27701 is a privacy extension to ISO/IEC 27001 that includes additional requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS).
The ISO/IEC 27701 and ISO/IEC 27001 standards require that management examine the organization’s information security risks systematically, taking into account threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts. It attests to Kwai’s implementation of an overarching management process to ensure that its security controls continue to meet its needs on an ongoing basis.
