ASUS has announced its new RTX Spark laptops, the ProArt P16 and P14, for the UAE market. Alongside them, the company also introduced the Zenbook 14, aimed at everyday productivity users.

Built Around NVIDIA RTX Spark

The ProArt P16 and P14 are powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. As a result, both laptops are positioned for AI-powered creation and agentic workflows.

The RTX Spark platform combines an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 cores and an NVIDIA Grace CPU with up to 20 cores. In addition, it includes fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 precision. These components are linked through NVIDIA’s NVLink-C2C chip-to-chip interconnect.

Consequently, the platform delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. It also supports up to 128GB of high-bandwidth unified memory. Because of this memory capacity, the laptops can run large language models with up to 120 billion parameters. They can also render 3D scenes larger than 90GB and generate 4K AI video, entirely on-device.

Why Local AI Matters

Running AI locally, rather than relying solely on the cloud, offers several advantages, according to ASUS.

First, it turns variable cloud costs into steady, predictable capacity. Creators can therefore run and retry AI agents without token limits, while reserving cloud resources for larger, burst-scale tasks.

Second, local processing supports data privacy. Prompts, files, and creative assets stay on the device. Local models can also continue working offline.

Third, local AI allows for greater customisation. Users can match models to specific tasks, adjust behaviour through prompts or fine-tuning, and build their own tools and skills.

An Ecosystem for Agentic Creative Work

Beyond hardware, ASUS is building a software ecosystem around its RTX Spark laptops. This ecosystem spans local applications, cloud services, and agentic workflow tools.

For local generative AI, ASUS preloads ProArt with exclusive applications. MuseTree, for instance, integrates the FLUX and WAN image models for token-free, local image generation. Meanwhile, StoryCube adds AI-powered scene recognition and media organisation for Windows.

For hybrid workflows, ProArt combines local RTX-powered AI with cloud creative services. These include Adobe Creative Cloud bundles. On select laptops, an exclusive Google AI bundle further extends hybrid AI capabilities.

Finally, ASUS is working to expand agentic workflows through ComfyUI, an open-source generative AI workflow platform. This includes interaction between ASUS-exclusive Zenni Claw and MuseTree, allowing AI agents to move across generation, editing, and asset management tasks.

Thin, Light Design

Despite their performance, both laptops maintain slim, portable designs. The ProArt P16, at 12.9mm thick and 1.77kg, is described as the thinnest 16-inch ProArt laptop to date. It is 14% thinner and 9% lighter than the previous generation. It also carries a 99Wh battery.

Similarly, the ProArt P14 weighs 1.48kg and measures 13.9mm thin, making it the lightest ProArt laptop so far. It houses a 90Wh battery.

Both models feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays with Delta E < 1 colour accuracy. The P16 supports up to 4K resolution at 120Hz with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The P14, meanwhile, offers up to 3K resolution. Both displays reach up to 1,600 nits of brightness and include anti-reflection coating.

In terms of design, the laptops are available in Nano Black and Neo White finishes. They also include a full range of ports, reducing the need for dongles, along with a precision haptic touchpad.

ASUS Zenbook 14 for Everyday Use

Alongside the ProArt line-up, ASUS also introduced the Zenbook 14. This model targets everyday portability and productivity, rather than heavy AI workloads.

The Zenbook 14 features an all-metal design with a Ceraluminum lid. It is available in three colours: Komodo Coral, Arctic Blue, and Zabriskie Beige. Depending on configuration, it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon X, Intel Core Ultra Series 3, or AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors. It also includes an OLED display and AI-enhanced features for work and collaboration.

Availability in the UAE

The Snapdragon-powered Zenbook 14 is already available in the UAE. Intel and AMD variants, however, are expected in October 2026.

The new RTX Spark laptops, ProArt P16 and P14, are also expected to launch in the UAE in October 2026.
